Lether Law Group is looking for a highly-motivated associate-level attorney to join our insurance coverage and complex litigation practice. We are a local firm with a national practice looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a multifaceted, dynamic, and growing area of the law.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
· Strong writing and analytical skills
· Experience with all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery, motions practice, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation
· Insurance coverage experience
· Proactive case management abilities
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong research skills
· Must be licensed to practice in Washington
The duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Work with a legal team to manage cases from inception to closure
· Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and settlement agreements
· Legal analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, fact patterns, and policy language
· Review and analysis of documents including claims files, correspondence, pleadings, and documents produced in discovery
· Prepare for, and attend or conduct, depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings
· Communicate with clients, counsel, and experts
· Trial preparation
