Our development teams ensure that all the codes are delivered with the highest quality. Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
Team and Role Overview
Adenza is looking for an Associate Business Analyst to join our Mumbai office, who will be responsible for global regulatory monitoring. The Business Analyst will be expected to translate regulatory requirements for major holdings disclosures. They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial regulations on Substantial Holding, Short Selling, Takeover, and Sensitive Industries disclosure rules. The Business Analyst must show an aptitude for interpreting and summarizing large amounts of text and identifying key points. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the financial system and Capital Markets, with a desire to learn and expand on their knowledge base. The role will be primarily internal facing, with some client interaction, and may involve occasional travel.
Responsibilities
Gathering relevant business requirements from financial regulations and translating them into solution specifications for the solution development team
Liaising with the solution development team, providing business knowledge to ensure business requirements are clearly understood
Monitoring and maintenance of regulatory rule changes, ensuring solution remains fit for purpose with all business requirements
Providing guidance to the Quality Assurance (QA) team on scenarios to be tested, reviewing test cases and results
Navigate the Axiom SL Controller View platform to understand regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions
Supporting the implementation team in responding to client requests
Responding to client tickets raised about legal interpretations and functionalities
The role will be both internal and client-facing and may require some trave
Skills And Requirements
Finance-related undergraduate degree (e.g., Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.)
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team in a dynamic environment
Highly organized and methodical approach to work
A basic understanding of key financial products and their main characteristics i.e., bonds, equity products, derivatives, preference shares, convertibles.
An understanding of data analysis and data modeling concepts
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
