Description

Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to-
Customs, Central Excise, SEZ and STPI
Labor Law Regulations
Function Specific Trade/Operational Licenses/other licenses
Tracking new regulatory developments in STPI, SEZ and other related regulations and assist in implementation
Identifying new laws, regulations, notifications and circulars issued by the govt. (state specific) that impact the entity
Managing STPI /SEZ License applications for new sites and licenses for closure of exiting sites across locations
Manage and coordinate with other functions to monitor progress of imports for new sites
Manage the operational processes for imports, de-bonding and other activities for STPI and Customs regulators
Managing Custom House Agents relationships, monitoring performance against SLA and driving vendor governance
Being responsible for ensuring that sufficient Capital goods import limits are maintained at all times
Following existing and ensuring there is appropriate review of all controls in the teams process and data records and undertaking reviews and audits regularly
Manage and keep updated on the digitization efforts of Government, provide insights and have relevant experience in digitization of existing processes for the team, coordinating with the Tech teams to ensure ongoing digitization efforts are maintained
