We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Buyer. We're looking for someone to join our Merchandise team in our Newmarket Support Office in Auckland. This role works collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business, in a fast paced and agile environment. Reporting to our Lead Buyer you will be responsible for building seasonal ranges, collaborating closely with Designers, Lead Buyer & Planners to create world class footwear collections.

Key responsibilities

Actively contribute to developing a customer centric cohesive ranges, on brief, to budget & on time

Provide updates on global trends/influences

Identify product opportunities pre & within season and ensure action is taken

Manage stock & orders to budget with the planning team

Supplier & our factory order management

Provide insightful trade performance updates & outtakes

Collate & review data for Post Seasonal analysis and review

Develop and complete marketing briefs for digital and in store signage

Provide well thought out product selections for campaign, social & EDM to support trade

Contribute to range book and trend updates for the marketing/Retail team

We are looking for someone with:

2+ years' experience in a similar role.

An eye for fashion & trends

Strong analytical skills - with an eye for detail, you feel at home looking at data and can draw insights from information and have passion for problem solving.

Intermediate Excel experience

Clear communication & strong organisational skills

A team approach - you love to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and can represent the business well in internal & external settings. You thrive on building relationships.
