Role Responsibilities
Strategy
• Support Head, FCC Group and Business Risk Assessment in enhancing the CFCC Risk Assessment and delivering on the strategic agenda for setting, measuring and maintaining Risk Appetite across CFCC. This includes assisting in the design and implementation of the CFCC risk assessment framework and practices to drive standardisation and delivering a data driven approach for inherent risk and ORF data for control effectiveness.

Business
• Understand GRA and CRA standards, processes and implementation milestones
• Support the data identification process and data sourcing activities across the CFCC Risk Assessments including AML, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud for all RAA products in Risk Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Measurement areas.
• Contribute to the data management processes including identification of CDEs and their associated tiering, completion and sign-off of data SLAs, data lineage documents and data quality checks and assurances
• Identify and support improvements to the end-to-end data management process across the CFCC Risk Assessments
• Support the creation and build of Project Plans to deliver new/agreed iterations of CFCC Risk Assessments including Project Initiation documents, budget requirements, project plans, financial status tracking, benefits realisation and closure reports
• Develop an understanding of the CFCC Risk Assessment deliverables and milestones to provide oversight support, capture dependencies, implementation timelines and track completion status
• Support the coordination and reporting of key CFCC Risk Assessment risks and issues for reporting to the relevant Working Group and Committees
• Contribute to the process maintenance that facilitates high quality DOIs, Controls and ad-hoc quality assurance checks
• Support the Controls execution, testing and evidence collection across GRA and CRA
• Build and maintain an effective and constructive relationship with all key functional and business stakeholders that is based on trust, capability and integrity
• Support the implementation of new Data policies and changes to existing polices in the CFCC RAA team. The policies cover Data Quality, Data Privacy, Records Management, Data Sovereignty, Responsible AI, Explainable AI and Cyber aspects of Data.
• Support the logical aspects of data used for Analytics within RAA and for wider CFCC consumption

Processes
• Contribute to the design and implementation the CFCC Risk Assessment framework and practices to drive standardisation of operational standards, processes, DOIs and controls.
• Develop and maintain effective governance and oversight tools and repositories for DOI documentation and evidence including the CFCC Risk Assessment Document Stack SharePoint site
• Support the Risk Assessment team gather milestones status updates and report at Progress Meetings and Working Groups
• Gather data points to support the design and delivery of the data driven approach for inherent risk and controls effectiveness across the CFCC Risk Assessments
• Support the wider CFCC Risk Assessment Teams with ad-hoc process reviews, enhancements, documentation and data related activities

Risk Management
• Adhere to CFCC standards to promote a culture of consistent standards to be delivered by the CFCC function.
• Collaborate with CFCC stakeholders to ensure proactive and timely identification of risks
• Make recommendations and support implementation to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/or findings of concerns from investigations.

Governance
• Maintaining the robustness and effectiveness of DOI and evidence repositories within CFCC Risk Assessment function.
• Assist Risk Assessment team members in the preparation of papers for submission to Working Groups and other Group committees where required, engaging with stakeholders to coordinate input to (and review of) milestones as appropriate.

Our Ideal Candidate
• At least 5 years' experience in Compliance, FCC, audit and/or regulatory risk management roles at a country/regional or group level preferably around Data policies, sourcing and Data conduct
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and banking regulations, and best practice risk management techniques
• Knowledge of Standard Chartered Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the Principal Risk Types, and the CFCC function's operational processes
• Ability to coordinate multiple dependencies and challenging stakeholders in a complex environment
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders
• Good drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to assess risk
• Team player who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
