About the Role
We are seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join Ward 29 as Associate Charge Nurses, offering an excellent opportunity to step into a senior nursing leadership role.
In this role, you will support the Charge Nurse in coordinating the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient and whānau-centred care. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee patient flow, coordinate care delivery, and support staff development.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives, workforce planning, and maintaining clinical standards.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate
Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience
Previous leadership or senior nursing experience (desirable)
Strong clinical skills and ability to coordinate care delivery
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Commitment to culturally safe practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
Working towards or achieved advanced PDRP leve
