Associate Counsel
Our legal team reviews contracts, advises the firm on matters of legal consequence, and proactively assesses and manages the firm’s risk exposure. The legal team is responsible for staying abreast of legal developments impacting the firm on a global basis and then advising the firm based on the changing legal landscape.
What You’ll Do
• Drafting and negotiating vendor and lease agreements,
• Ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with Indian laws including corporate, environmental, labor, and tax filings.
• Drafting Minutes, Agenda, Board’s Report, Annual Return and ensure various compliances under Company Law and FEMA.
• Coordinating and helping with internal compliance communications and audits
• Assist in providing legal support to Corporate Social Responsibility related projects
• Assist in managing ZS forms and playbooks
• Assist in providing legal support to business functions and across various departments within ZS, including finance, human resources and IT.
• Assist in advising various corporate legal issues with regards to day to day activities of business, drafting and managing legal notices and its reply.
• Ability to draft policies/SOPs/guidelines
• Ability to assess and mitigate risk for the corporation
• Be responsible for researching different laws, notifications, circulars etc. and their applicability to ZS
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B or LL.M) with strong academic
background required.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in law firm or industry.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Motivation, personal initiative, and strong team/interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines and work
independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for global collaboration and Experience negotiating agreements.
