IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Associate Debt Manager-Recoveries-Consumer Loan & Cross Sell. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent consumer loans and work towards recovering the outstanding amounts
- Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries
- Conduct field visits to meet with customers and negotiate repayment plans
- Cross-sell other banking products and services to customers during recovery visits
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with customers and update the recovery status in the system
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, credit, and legal to resolve customer issues and ensure timely recovery
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to debt management and recovery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in debt management and recoveries, preferably in the banking industry
- Strong understanding of consumer loan products and recovery processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets within tight deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications
- Willingness to travel for field visits as required
