What you'll do
Work as cross-topic architect for S/4HANA Procurement development teams.
Identify common architectural design problems and provide guidance to the development teams to solve these issues.
adhere to aligned LOB processes (e.g. backlog planning, together with Engineering Leads and delivery team), reporting and tools
Work closely with Architect, Product Owner and other stakeholders to drive design and code reviews.
Author and review design and technical documentation
Be involved in implementing Architecture decisions into reference implementations to receive feedback, learn and adapt.
Provide support in prioritization and release planning of the architecture activities.
Share and cascade technology insights and architecture decisions with team architects and teams
What you bring
8+ years of experience in software development & design
Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in ABAP/ABAP OO, ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modelling / OData / BOPF / RAP
Strong knowledge in SAPUI5/Fiori Design principles.
Good modelling skills using TAM to depict design problems and solution options
Ability to translate a complex business requirement into a realizable technical requirement
Understanding of clean code principles: execute code reviews, code inspections, unit testing, performance measurements and other quality tasks
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role
Ability to Identify non-functional requirements like Maintainability, Scalability, testability , performance of the design proposals
Knowledge of automation test frameworks like Vyper/OPA5/QUnits is desirable
Experience or functional knowledge in Procurement / SAP MM is desirable
