Associate Devops Engineer
About the Unit
The Global innovation unit leads Yara’s transformation towards a nature-positive food future, by innovating our offerings based on exceptional R&D and sound customer insights. GI leads the positioning of Yara’s new solutions and works closely with the 3 regions to ensure successful commercialisation towards all actors of the food value chain (farmers, channel partners, Food companies, etc..) while building solid capabilities & sharing knowledge across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the DevOps team to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
Manage access and authentication for various systems and applications, ensuring proper access controls and security measures are in place.
Work closely with development teams to automate the deployment of MuleSoft APIs and streamline the CI/CD pipeline.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system configuration for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and access management in a timely manner.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in managing and configuring Confluent Kafka clusters, including topics, partitions, and replication.
Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or other relevant certifications.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
