Position Summary
The range of responsibilities of the testing team could include testing the software developments, automating software testing with automation tools and framework, assisting with testing bugs, assisting with user acceptance testing etc. We are looking for a Test Engineer who will work alongside our Digital/R&D team to manually test our applications. Our app is available on both the web and mobile. The incumbent will be able to create all the testing and frameworks as required for the projects. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field from a reputed university or MCA.
Strong communications skills in English and ability to work with global stakeholders effectively
An aptitude to learn digital tools and technologies
Excellent commitment to software manual testing.
Certificate or experience in Automation testing is a huge plus.
Strong critical thinking - ability to identify issues and bugs.
Excellent written communication skills - ability to describe identified issues in a clear and concise manner.
Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and instructions.
Strong proficiency in the usage of standard software and tools like Excel, MSWord, PowerPoint etc & internet.
Preferred Qualifications
Manual Testing, Software Quality Assurance, Functional Testing, API Testing, Mobile Testing, Website Testing, Test Case Execution, Usability Testing, Jira, bug tracking, bug reporting, regression testing.
Experience or knowledge in Automation testing, Test suites, Python is a plus.
2+ years of experience in the chemical engineering field is a plus.
Background and expertise in one of the following areas:
Advanced use of tools like Excel
Internet of Things applications
Preferred Personality Traits
