Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate – Direct Tax, Audit & Compliance. The role is based in Mumbai. The day-to-day tasks include conducting direct tax audits, preparing tax returns, managing tax assessments, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting the team with tax advisory services. The role may also involve assisting with financial audits, identifying key issues, and maintaining meticulous records and documentation to support tax filings and audit processes.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Direct Taxation, Tax Compliance, and Tax Assessments
• Strong knowledge of Audit Processes, Financial Reporting, and Risk Management
• Experience in analyzing financial statements and maintaining thorough documentation
• Familiarity with accounting principles, GST regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for adherence to deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting and auditing software will be an added advantage
• Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
