Summary:
• Execute the coverage and associated workplan for the strategic enablement of the Correspondent Banking and Banks & Broker Dealer segments in FI.
• Execute the 1st line ownership of risk associated with Standard Chartered’s Global Affiliates, acting as the strategic advisor to the SC Affiliate network, and where relevant CBR and BBD
Strategy
• Sound knowledge of Products, Policy, Process and Systems
Business
• Establish a work programme that concentrates on driving knowledge on the Bank’s relevant non-financial risk & control frameworks with respect to these clients.
• Implement measures that result in industry, regulatory and product knowledge being continually developed personally and within the team (and wider FI Strategic Enablement team).
• Manage Standard Chartered and its subsidiaries to facilitate one bank connectivity and provide compliance oversight
Be the point of contact and provide oversight on CDD and account monitoring processes for all SCB Affiliates.
Processes
• Lead the process of CBDDQ renewals within the Affiliate team, for the Affiliate stage of the process
• Work closely with key stakeholders (CFCC; RFCC; CEO/s office; Compliance; etc.) to ensure accurate representation and timely renewals of the document
• Periodically review the DOI linked to the process and make necessary amendments as required
SWIFT KYC Registry:
• Oversee the SWIFT KYC Registry Process
• Review and Approve drafts created with the SWIFT KYC Registry
• Build a strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders – SWIFT, FCC teams, Country Management teams and Support Groups – Technology, Corporate Secretariat, COO teams etc.
• Regularly review the process of Granting of SWIFT KYC Registry SCB Branch & Subsidiary Profiles
• Regularly review the process of Granting of SWIFT CSP Profiles
• Periodically review the DOI linked to the process and make necessary amendments as required
Affiliate Due Diligence:
• Ensure all required CDDs on SCB entities (Banking and Non-Banking) are completed in a timely fashion.
• Work on creation, updates and periodical review of CDD records on SCB systems
