Job Description
The Stations team within WSP’s Rail business are actively seeking an Associate Director MEP (Rail) to lead teams delivering Rail MEP Building Services for major Railway projects.
The role includes all aspects of technical delivery during including Concept to RIBA 4 / GRIP 5 stages, client engagement and internal multi-disciplinary co-ordination. The team offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to enhance their career and deliver some of the most prestigious Rail Projects in the UK and overseas.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
Leading Rail stations M&E design team.
Liaise M&E design with the Client / Contractors.
Become focal point between the Client Team and the WSP Design team.
Working closely with M&E Design team to resolve design issues.
You are people person, love working with people and actively lead team of M&E engineers.
Working knowledge of the design of Rail stations Mechanical, Electrical and Public health systems. Added advantage of working knowledge of Telecoms and Fire systems.
Requires working knowledge of compliance requirements to Building Regulations, Part L and other MEP sustainable and Net Zero design requirements.
Realise WSP’s and our client net zero carbon commitments and ambitions by delivering highly sustainable, low carbon design.

Interpretation of client specification requirements and various Standards requirements in the development of designs
Have Contractual and Commercial awareness of how Employer’s Instruction, Early Warnings and other contractual correspondences works.
