Responsibilities
The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance
Translates long and short-term strategic business plans into designs and implementation plans for data architecture/data strategy
Defines corporate standards for Technology in support of those strategic business plans
Works with Infrastructure, Application Development, Information Security and Product Management to ensure product and project implementations conform to the enterprise standards and support the enterprise strategy
Develop and design of shared enterprise technology solutions/capabilities
Develops and documents data solutions, including technical designs and guidelines for enterprise-wide usage
Participates in the design, specification, and implementation of business and technology projects, assuring consistency to enterprise-wide solutions and feeding lessons-learned back into the enterprise architecture process
Promotes awareness of and reuse of existing data capabilities
Maintains understanding of existing DTCC applications and technology solutions for demonstrating the reuse of data designs and for the consolidation of designs
Identifies and researches opportunities for converging diverse DTCC solutions to a common data architecture
Leads and enables collaboration across technology specialties - ensures that Application Development, Infrastructure, Information Security and Architecture are all working together
Maintains understanding of emerging data architecture concepts and methods and associated technology trends
Conducts presentations and education on data capabilities and solutions to appropriate areas of DTCC

The Impact you will have in this role:

Translates long and short-term strategic business plans into designs and implementation plans for data architecture/data strategy. Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of professional data-related experience in the financial services industry
• 3+ years of professional Collibra/Data Catalog/metadata-related experience
• 3+ years Java/DQL/Python/Groovy Development Experience
• Sustained full-lifecycle technical leadership on data-intensive development projects (e.g. Metadata Management, data warehouse, data lake, data transport systems, metadata management systems, data quality, analytics & reporting)

Additional experience in following areas would be nice to have:
• Experience in working with the Modern Data Stack including Big Data, Data Fabric, Data Analytics, and AI/ML.
• Working experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Working experience with Data Quality tools is a plus.
• Working experience with Data Ingestion tools is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Deep expertise in data management, metadata management, data integration, data governance, data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), data transport, data quality, and master data management
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
