We are presently searching for an Associate Driver Trainer for our client in Mississauga, Ontario
This role is critical in ensuring our team members are fully and effectively trained to do their jobs professionally, independently, and safely
The Associate Driver Trainer is vital in communicating the safety expectations and ensuring everyone operates in compliance with the organizations policies, procedures, and best practices
This role interacts with drivers, mechanics, technicians, loaders, managers, supervisors, the safety team, and industry professionals
Hours: 22:00 - 6:30am (must be flexible to work alternate shifts if required)
Group Insurance after three months of employment, RRSP with Matching employer contribution
Salary $65K per year.
Responsibilities
• Work with operations and manage the payroll process and required information by collecting, calculating, and populating input data for successful payment to employees.
• Be a point of contact for any payroll role inquiries, working with our corporate payroll team and operations team.
• Working with operations to respond to payroll inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Provide Operations dispatch support.
• Assist with any vacation coverage for the operations team.
• Data Entry into our AS400 system.
• Filing, copying, answering operations telephone and email inquires.
• Prepare reports.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must have 1-3 years’ experience in the transportation industry.
• Good communication skills – both oral and written, including telephone etiquette.
• Must pay attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
• Must have detailed knowledge of dispatching.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good problem solver.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
• AS400 and Microsoft Excel experience is an asset.
• Bilingual
