Job Description
The Engineer Middleware job assists in installing, configuring and maintaining middleware technologies, software, and hardware to enhance the organization's business efficiency and insights. While working under direct supervision, this job supports the delivery of middleware technologies that connect components or applications and allows multiple processes running on one or more machines to interact across the network. This job also assists in resolving technical issues that arise between the systems, and maintains technical designs and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Assists in designing appropriate middleware for the environment based on an organization's architectural needs.
• Updates and maintains documentation for middleware installations, changes and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots routine technical problems in timely and accurate manner to improve application performance and functionality.
• Supports technology solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise to meet business needs.
• Assists software developers with dynamic application features such as authentication, authorization, auditing, configuration management, or debugging middleware applications.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technology trends, and apply innovative technologies to update existing middleware.
