Job Description:
Basic understanding of Data Centre
Facility Planning
Through understanding of DOMS
Providing DOMS support to Hands & Eyes as & when needed
Working with new projects for Space & Power allocation
Commissioning & decommissioning for existing Clients / Racks
Working with DOMS Backend Team for Updates / Errors
Ensuring DOMs for respective DCs are UpToDate with SLAs
Change & Incident Management:
Managing low & high severity change requests/incidents
Reviewing, Validating approving change requests raised by different teams
Raising change requests at regular intervals for different kind DC related activities
Working & closing the incident tasks well within the defined SLAs
Vendor Management:
Coordinating with cabling vendors & engaging them for different kind of projects
Coordinating with media destruction vendors when & where ever needed
Working with cabling vendors to make sure projects gets completed successfully & within SLA
Coordinating with DC Vendors for Facility related issues
Coordinating with vendors for miscellaneous DXC owned facility devices (CCTV etc.)
Billing
Ensuring DOMS is UpToDate before every month's cut-off date
Generating bills
Coordinating with Finance Team for collection
