Associate - Financial Analyst

At DataLabs, Capital One India, we solve fundamental business problems at scale using advanced analytics, data science and machine learning. We specialize in deriving valuable insights about various aspects of the business - including product and process design, consumer behavior, regulatory and credit risk, and much more - from large volumes of data to build cutting edge patentable products at an industrial scale. DataLabs is looking for Finance Associate to spearhead our foray into autonomous and intelligent data products that solve the full gamut of business and analytical needs. This role involves working with heads of lines of businesses in our Financial Services division to understand contemporary business needs, lead analytical teams to make impactful and actionable offers, and work with Engineering groups to lead tech delivery of large product builds. The role encompasses recruiting, developing and motivating an exceptional team that is drawn from elite campuses in India and abroad, and focused on our mission to develop world class data products.

A day in the life of a Capital One Finance Associate.
As a Finance Associate, you will have dynamic responsibilities associated with Capital One India’s month-end closing and financial reporting processes. You will assist in the compilation of reports and analysis to support management review of financial results. You will also work with an outstanding team to identify issues and collaborate on recommended solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage budgeting function in the company.
Ensure a timely and accurate month-end financial reporting, variance analysis & forecasting.
Manage cash flow, corporate insurance, and travel function in the company.
Drafting of policies related to budget, banking, insurance & travel.
Ideate, conceptualize & implement process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Chartered Accountant (Preferably 1st attempt) or CFA
2 - 5 years of post-qualification experience.
Ability to work in Tally, MS-Suite and G-Suite.
Excellent communication- verbal and written.
Experience in the big 4 audit firms an added advantage.
