Role Description:

The Reference Data Operator focuses on effective oversight of Client Offboarding pipelines generated from the Bank's static data systems and infrastructure. The Reference Data Operator supports various elements of the Offboarding lifecycle, from ensuring that data is captured from the best source, to validation and classification, P&A checks, and the eventual Offboarding of client accounts. The Reference Data Operator has responsibility for maintaining robustness in Offboarding process, Review the current capacity metrics and monitor performance of the team.

Shift- Should be flexible to work in any of the shifts in case of business requirement

Your Key Responsibilities:

Process:

• Design and deliver Management reporting relevant to current requirements

• Ability to work with multiple data sets across platforms to correlate in-scope / out of scope populations for different regulations

• To act as an escalation point for the process and be required to foster relationships with functional management team

• Preparation of process KOP & assisting the team in KOP revision on quarterly basis.

• Training/UAT testing/IT support.

• Issue log maintenance, tracking and monitoring

• Responsible for timely, complete and correct processing pending items in various pipelines.

People:

• Monitor team's productivity and performance on a daily basis against targets

• Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures.

• Nominating for the R&R.

• Groom Team members by effective coaching, motivation and leadership.

• Fluent English is essential.

• Effective capacity and resource planning to ensure timely response to adhoc issues/urgent requests from DB Internal requestors.

Control:
• Develop, suggest and implement risk mitigation or control solutions within own area of responsibility
• Identify training needs of the team to improve performance.
• Possess a clear and in-depth understanding of policies and share across team members.
• Provides transparency regarding operational incidents, root causes and proposed remediation
• Effectively manages escalation notification to AVP with estimated potential or actual impact.
• Managing sensitive and confidential information
• Performing Quality check for the team
• Ensuring the mandatory trainings are completed by the team and himself/herself within the time.

Change:
• Validate, monitor and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of own end-to-end operations processes
• Consider, suggest and as appropriate, implement strategies to ensure continuous process improvement
• Foster an environment of process streamlining within the team
• Encouraging the SME's of the team to work on process improvement ideas.
• Downloading and updating the team with the constant process changes.
• Participation in process transition/SOS/VRM.
• Work with IT and Vendor teams to initiate new automation and process streamlining ideas.

Your Skills and Experience:
• Graduates with good academic records
• Overall experience of at least 8 years in Banking/Financial services industry
• Good understanding of the various banking products and services specially Client Static.
• Experience of working in a matrix environment, and accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organizations and cultures.
• Good knowledge of current regulatory trends and developments
• People Management skills.
• Knowledge of reference data an added advantage
• Vendor management experience is not necessary but will be a big plus
