Senior Testing Analyst
The Senior Testing Analyst evaluates equipment and develops processes to improve the safety, reliability and maintainability of products and systems. Working independently with limited supervision, this job oversees the performance of various systems, applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Evaluates test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure the quality of information systems, applications and databases delivered.
• Leads internal and external audit projects, and ensures follow up with a timely response on corrective action.
• Appraises the correctness and efficiency of testing methods, analyzes and presents the results of testing sessions, and troubleshoots technical problems and issues.
• Implements testing tools and processes for use in projects, and directs the selection of testing tools and approaches.
• Monitors the design and development of usability testing programs, cases, scenarios and processes to ensure that all functions are thoroughly tested.
• Presents metrics to demonstrate the impact implemented IT changes have made to the organization.
Educational Requirements
• University (Degree) Preferred

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Define the test strategies for Functional, Regression and Smoke Testing
• Understand and implement the testing processes
• Prepare functional test plans
• Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution phases
• Plan & coordinate for timely availability of the test data & environments
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams and support partners across US & India
• Ensure that all post test execution wrap up activities are conducted for projects per procedure / requirements
• Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals / milestones, task status, and identify / address issues

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Define and Implement the QA metrics framework

Functional Knowledge
Desired Experience
• Good Understanding of Asset Management Domain and attribution/reporting projects.
• Ability to create test data, test plan.
• Ability to perform data comaprision between different sources.
• Ability to query database to validate data / ability to view and compare data files to identify differences
• Ability to perform data validation in Excel and should have basic execel operation knowledge
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development process.
Nice to have
• Performance Testing knowledge preferred
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvement
Technical Skills
Desired Skills
• Good understanding of UI Functional Testing, API Testing.
• Excellent in SQL and data analysis skills
• Excellent in MS excel and other MS office applications
Nice to have
• Testing Certifications Ex: ISTQB, HP UFT Certifications, PMP and Oracle Certifications etc.
