Associate – General Corporate | Top-Tier Law Firm (Mumbai)

A leading law firm is looking to hire an Associate (2-4 PQE) for its General Corporate team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on transactional experience and the ability to execute deals independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in M&A, private equity, and general corporate transactions, with a focus on execution.

• Independently conduct due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.

• Draft and review transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and investment agreements.

• Work closely with clients, senior lawyers, and internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution.

• Provide legal support on transaction structuring and compliance.

Key Requirements:

• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or reputed corporate law practice.

• Strong transactional experience, beyond just advisory work.

• Ability to conduct due diligence independently and assist in negotiations.

• Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.

• Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.
