About the role:
MUFG is the leading international bank in the Australasian market. Due to recent success and continued growth in our business, applications for a Sydney based Analyst/Associate in Corporate & Institutional Solutions are being sought to support administration and dealing in the Derivatives business.
The Sydney based Analyst/Associate role will assist with deal administration, reporting, new customer setup and client servicing, and will focus on MUFG’s Corporate, Institutional & Japanese Global Markets customer facing business unit in Australia & NZ.
What you’ll be doing:
Act as the focal point for internal stakeholders for customer documentation and associated dealing administration
Assist with the preparation of customer presentations and compliance reporting
Customer set-up, maintenance and database management
Monthly/weekly/daily and ad-hoc reporting of profit and other management reporting requirements
Assist Interest Rate Derivative team with inputting, pricing and modelling various structures
Help drive efficiency and process improvements
Completing other ad-hoc tasks as directed
Possible cross-training to FX trading as required
Completing trade input for senior markets dealers for Interest Rate Derivative transactions.
Work in partnership with colleagues in Regional Head Office and various departments to contribute to the development of new or enhanced Derivative products
This role should be considered as a stepping stone to a customer-facing sales role
Training will be provided to facilitate independent rates dealing with customers, under supervision
Working hours flexibility required to meet the demands of the business
Key areas of accountability:
Assist sales teams to deliver on budget and other targets
Accurate and efficient reporting, database and spreadsheet management, trade booking and associated administration
Demonstrate superior communication skills
Development of financial market knowledge and understanding
