Job Vacancy: Associate Interior Designer
Location: London Bridge area, with international project involvement
Type: Full-Time
Studio: A boutique and concept-driven luxury interior design studio
The Role
As an Interior Design Associate, you will oversee the smooth delivery of all projects while nurturing and mentoring the design team. Your key responsibilities include:
Project Management & Delivery
• Develop and manage roadmaps and timelines for live and prospective projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to transform creative ideas into actionable plans.
• Maintain high standards of communication between the studio, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Check all project deliverables to ensure exceptional quality before final submission.
• Monitor studio productivity to resolve challenges and streamline workflows.
Team Leadership
• Provide mentorship and training to Senior, Midweight, and Junior Designers.
• Build a cohesive design language and positive work culture within the studio.
• Troubleshoot studio issues and collaborate with the executive team to resolve them.
Design Expertise
• Assist in the conceptual design and design documentation stages.
• Confidently produce and review CAD drawing packs, bespoke joinery, and furniture details.
• Ensure project deliverables align with studio standards and client expectations.
Operational Excellence
• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for consistent quality.
• Introduce new technologies and processes to improve team efficiency.
• Organize design sprints and team meetings to foster creativity and alignment.
About You
You are a dynamic, passionate, and experienced designer with a proven track record of managing luxury projects. You thrive under pressure and bring positive energy to your team.
Skills & Qualifications:
• 8–10 years of experience in luxury hospitality and/or residential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong technical knowledge in interior architecture, detailing, and FF&E.
• Excellent project management skills, with familiarity in platforms like Monday or Teams.
• Impeccable communication and presentation abilities.

• A team leader who fosters collaboration and inspires creativity.
• Detail-oriented, with impeccable taste and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience delivering high-quality projects from concept to completion.
