Associate Interior Designer
We are October Designs - a growing Residential Design Studio in the heart of Bangalore.
It is a home-style practice in keeping with our expertise for designing people’s homes - a home that receives their life’s events - exciting, mundane and difficult.
Customer Service is of paramount importance to us. We take our job very seriously because we are working with their hard earned money, and delivering a highly unique and customized service. With a long time span… sometimes lasting years!
Our office culture is one of mentorship and collaboration and the space is designed to experiment and research. We are constantly learning and teaching forward. There’s no ego or agenda other than mutual care and respect.
We have our fun! Music is central to our work space (see us fighting over music choices).
We are currently looking for a dedicated Interior Design Associate who has the following skills:
JD for Interior Design Associate
• 3+ years of experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Software Prowess - CAD & Sketchup, Basic MS Excel EXPERT
• Design Sensibility - ability to take design from vision to reality
• Should know how to delegate work and manage younger designers and vendors
• Looking for a long stint - Only apply if you are interested in stability within the same firm for a long time and your future plans are within Bangalore.
• Career growth to Design Director and beyond.
• Ties self growth to that of the firm.
• Excited by the prospect of a small cozy design practice
• International Exposure from travel or study is preferred
• Down-to-Earth, mature and amicable. A sense of humor is a big plus.
