What is the Opportunity?

What will you do?
Support team’s Investment Management Operations, executing trades and rebalancing portfolios.
Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
Execute updates to portfolio models, based on instructions from Portfolio Manager
Generate Investment Policy Statements
Review IPS and accurately input high volumes of trades for a large PIM portfolio, making sure that each trade adheres to asset allocation rules and any special trading instructions/IPS rules
Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team
Participate in regular investment management team meetings and communication
Support the administrative functions of the advisory team
Support your advisory team with new client acquisition
May be required to provide primary relationship support for a select group of trading clients
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
Successful completion of the Investment Management Techniques (IMT) Course/ CIM or CFA
University degree
A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
Nice-to-have
Previous RBC Dominion Securities experience
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
Highly developed client service skills
