Associate, Java FullStack Developer, Consumer Banking & Core Engine
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
Proven ability to work well in a challenging environment with multiple job streams and with the ability to prioritize and multitask whilst delivering high quality solutions.
Effective end to end execution of development & release phases.
Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design artefacts.Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
Self-starter who can drive and facilitate requirements and development effort.
Review design of existing applications and provide recommendations to increase system’s robustness/scalability/performance/maintainability.
Participate in code review activities and ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
Developer experience varies from 4-6 years of IT experience.
Must have strong technical expertise in coding in Java 8 or Java 11.
Must have strong experience in developing Microservicess using Java Spring Boot along with security and Microservices Architecture in a Cloud environment (with Pivotal/AWS).
Design and implement Devops tools, adopt agile methodology, deliver effectively, efficiently, on-time, in-specification and in a cost-effective manner.
Hands on APIs and micro services design and development experience. Hands on experience in Design patterns, and principles.
Hands on experience in Devops tools like Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc. release automation tools, blue/green deployment.
Good understanding of Networking and Security.
Scrum/Agile leadership/adoption experience.
Exposure in Digital transformation Journey will be added advantage.
