Associate, L2 Production Support Application Engineer, Consumer Banking & Core Engines
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilties
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Ready to support 24.7 Operations and on rotational shifts basis
• The position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as production support or at least infrastructure support or development role.
Requirements
• Knowledge on Linux/Unix with experience in scripting and automation.
• Basic Knowledge on Windows scripting.
• Good expertise on Monitoring tools (Grafana/Kibana etc or any relevant monitoring tools).
• ITIL knowledge is a must on INCIDENT and PROBLEM handling process
• Knowledge on Java/J2EE will be an addon.
• Knowledge on JBOSS/ Heap, Threads
• Basics on Network fundamentals
• Ability to re-run, force jobs, sysout capturing, investigating agent unavailable issues, create job/batch (Knowing would be added advantage)
• Theoretical knowledge, ability to backup/retrieve data, File restore
• Basic database knowledge with ability to query, write commands and automate scripts
