Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at Far-Sight Law Firm. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to gain hands-on experience and further develop their career in either Civil Litigation or Family Law. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced attorneys, gaining exposure to a diverse range of cases and legal issues.
Responsibilities
• Handle a variety of legal tasks
• Draft legal documents
• Conduct legal research
• Represent clients in court
• Provide legal advice and guidance
• Collaborate with other lawyers in the firm
• Assist with case management and preparation
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Canadian law and legal procedures
• Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Admission to the Alberta Bar is required
• Experience in civil litigation is a plus
• Fluency in additional languages is an asset
