Our client's Corporate Energy practice group is currently seeking an exceptional mid to senior level associate to join its highly regarded Energy practice group in their Calgary Office. This group provides leading advice on all aspects of energy-related private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and complex project development transactions, including project structuring, co-ownership arrangements, operations, marketing, supply/offtake transactions, and new development involving industry conglomerates and investor groups to emerging independent producers and operators.

Qualifications and Attributes:
• 2-10 years of post call corporate/energy experience from a reputable law firm and/or a combination of private practice and in-house experience in oil and gas, power and renewables, including private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and/or project development
• Transactional experience - inclusive of drafting and negotiation experience
• Above average transcripts/academics
• Team player
• Strong work ethic
• Client service orientated
• Qualified to practice law in Canada
