1. Introduction :
Our firm, Yeshwant Legal Associates, is seeking passionate and dedicated Junior Advocates with 0–1 year or 1–3 years of experience to join our dynamic litigation practice. This opportunity is designed for those eager to gain hands-on legal experience, build a strong professional foundation, and contribute to our mission of enhancing public trust and firm visibility through exemplary legal services.
2. Objective:
The objective is to mentor and professionally train the next generation of litigation advocates. This includes structured exposure to real-time court proceedings, drafting, client consultation, case strategy, and initiatives to boost the firm's public relations and outreach, including conducting public awareness programs, seminars, and workshops, fostering a reputation for excellence and accessibility.
3. Scope of Training & Practice :
Building Public Relations & Client Management
Client Interaction & Instruction Handling:
Trainees will be exposed to direct client interaction to learn how to understand legal queries, take accurate instructions, and manage client communications effectively.
Client Relationship Management:
Active participation in client servicing, follow-ups, and maintaining professional relationships to build trust and long-term engagement.
Improving Public Relations and Promotion:
Trainees will participate in and help conduct public awareness programs, seminars, workshops, client engagement events, and digital marketing efforts (e.G., social media campaigns) to enhance the firm’s reach and public image.
Legal Research, Drafting & Academic Development
Learning of Drafting:
Hands-on training in legal drafting, pleading, and documentation, including contracts, petitions, affidavits, and briefs, will be provided to develop precision and legal writing expertise.
Legal Research & Analysis:
Regular assignments involving in-depth research on statutes, case laws, and contemporary legal developments will support the litigation and advisory practice.
Mentorship & Performance Review:
Continuous mentorship through feedback sessions, academic discussions, and periodic performance reviews ensures holistic professional development.
Court Craft & Advocacy Training
Learning of Court Crafting and Argument Skills:
Trainees will receive focused training in courtroom procedures, persuasive argumentation, and strategic case presentation through direct involvement in live litigation across civil, criminal, and constitutional matters.
Litigation Management:
Exposure to the procedural framework of courts, including drafting for filings, briefing seniors, attending court hearings, and case diary maintenance.
Advocacy Skills Development:
Emphasis will be placed on developing effective oral presentation and courtroom etiquette essential for young advocates.
4. Eligibility Criteria :
- Law graduates enrolled with the Bar Council
- 0–1 year or 1–3 years of litigation experience
- Strong commitment to learning, professional development, and promoting the firm’s values
- Good command over legal language and reasoning
5. Duration and Commitment :
- Minimum commitment of 1–3 years
- Full-time presence and active participation in training sessions, office work, court visits, and promotional activities including public programs
6. Outcome and Career Growth:
- Solid practical understanding of litigation workflows, drafting techniques, and courtroom advocacy
- Capability to handle independent matters under supervision and contribute to firm promotion through public initiatives
- Enhanced skills in public relations, including organizing seminars and workshops
- Recommendation and support for independent legal practice or future placements
