Job Description
As part of KordaMentha’s Major Projects Advisory team, we provide commercial, financial, transaction management, and strategic advice to government and private sector clients and we are seeking an Associate or Manager who is eager to lead and contribute to the growth of our team.
In KordaMentha we are proud to be involved in all major infrastructure sectors including transport, energy, social infrastructure (health, housing, education, justice, and community infrastructure), real estate, defence and national security, and water. We are also currently involved in initiatives for the upcoming Olympic Games.

Your opportunity
Due to continued growth, we have opportunities for talented individuals to join our Major Projects Advisory Team in Queensland.
You will play a key role in working in a growth team to provide financial and commercial advice on major infrastructure projects across every stage of the asset lifecycle, from investment decision and business case, through procurement and transaction processes, throughout the delivery phase and into operations. As an Associate / Manager you will be responsible for developing deliverables and leading initiatives on projects across various functions and work streams.
You will bring skills and experience, preferably from major infrastructure backgrounds, across:
Developing business cases and options.
Advising on transaction strategy or delivery model analysis.
Providing transaction management services.
Developing tender documentation and leading and managing tender processes.
Developing commercial principles, term sheets, transaction documentation and contracts.
Resolving complex commercial issues, including through negotiations.
Building financial models and conducting financial analysis.
Leveraging specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in relevant infrastructure sectors (transport, energy, social infrastructure, defence and national security, real estate, or water).
Qualifications
Relevant and demonstrated experience in the private sector or government (for example, professional services firms, management consultancy, corporate advisory, government infrastructure delivery teams, government treasury departments, investment banking or infrastructure funds).
Commercial expertise in a similar role working on large infrastructure projects ideally from a consultant/advisory perspective.
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, economics, law, engineering, or a similar discipline.
3-5 years of relevant industry experience
Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
A passion for doing work that matters and thriving on the challenge of solving complex problems, juggling competing demands, and working as part of a team in delivering solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
