What would you do?
You will be aligned the Global Controllership function to support Accenture’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. This primarily includes managing data assurance activities, including assessing current processes and controls and identifying required improvements to ensure the completeness and accuracy of ESG data disclosed or used as support for disclosures.

Roles and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
• Oversee data assurance activities during the annual ESG reporting cycle (Sept-December) as well as other reporting platforms during the year (rankings, ratings, Accenture website updates/changes). For areas identified as higher risk (e.g manual compilations, reliance on third party data, etc.) review reasonableness of major assumptions, inherent judgment or risks of error in the compilation of data to ensure completeness and accuracy. Work with data owners to enhance auditability as needed.
• Liaison with data owners to review and assess reporting processes for key disclosures. Includes gathering a detailed understanding of the subject matter, how data is gather and compiled, methodologies, key risks and assumptions
• Design and implement process, policy or control changes for areas identified with data/reporting/control risks
• Develop process documentation with data owners, including methodology documents
• Assist with summaries of/options for potential new disclosures – including reporting risks/unintended consequences, benchmarking
• Support audit requests (internal or external), as needed
• Manage preparation, development and/or delivery of training and communication on ESG reporting
• Lead in other special projects or assist with ad hoc requests as needed
