Role Responsibilities
Strategy
• This role is responsible for ensuring and managing all Information Delivery, Assurance and Regulatory Reporting related deliverables, adhering to SLA, operating instructions and quality requirements, managing a team of analysts and Managers. The role is also responsible for the quality of the team being managed and its output
Business
• Capital CoE (Centre of Expertise) is a centralized function of SCB managing the end-to-end Capital Regulatory Process and Infrastructure closely liaising with the Group Regulatory Reporting Teams facing off to Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) in London. The unit is part of Global Finance Services of SCB operating out of Chennai and Bangalore.
• Capital CoE team partners with several stakeholders on a day-to-day basis within the bank that includes Business, Finance, Risk Analytics, Portfolio Risk, Group Regulatory Reporting, Group Financial Reporting functions and Technology. This team provides services covering all client segments of SCB across all 50+ countries, through a centralized and standardized delivery model under Global Process Management framework.

Processes
Ensure timely delivery of services relating to FINREP returns to be submitted on a quarterly basis to EBA and other major regulatory submissions including Focus Report, PRA108, Exhibit A, Asset Encumbrance EBA ITS on Resolution Planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of key Pillar 3 disclosures and Risk Disclosures which will be part of Group Consolidation process/ disclosures
• Perform regulatory consolidation of Joint ventures and associates
• Understand the IFRS standards relevant for financial instruments i.e IAS 3+, IFRS 7, +, 13 for the purpose of preparing the financial statements.
• Understand the business model/operations of key banking products and its accounting and reporting requirements
• Ensure the various validations and reconciliation of financial data for their correctness and completeness
• Participate and contribute in all ongoing change management initiatives to enhance the Capital Reporting framework that is aligned with the regulatory and bank's technology objectives.
People and Talent
• Take ownership for all delivery within the function or processes assigned, acting as a single point of contact for the services rendered Develop strong functional content across FINREP reporting and conduct trainings/share best practices across various teams and aim towards enhancing the analytical quotient in all reports submitted to the stakeholders Plan, Prepare, Allocate the delivery tasks amongst the team, assign specific responsibilities and ensure that the all the assurance deliverables are met within the agreed timelines
Risk Management
• Exercise right level of diligence, control and governance to comply with bank's Data Quality and Reporting Standards including those that are prescribed by the Basel and Regulatory Environment in which the bank operates.
• Be aware of the quality and operational control requirements, bearing in mind the expected data quality required for regulatory reporting in compliance to the standards set by the regulators
• Work towards continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to decrease process turn-around time and improve productivity
Governance
• Exercise right level of diligence, control and governance to comply with bank's Data Quality and Reporting Standards including those that are prescribed by the Basel and Regulatory Environment in which the bank operates.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
Qualification
• Finance Professionals (CA/ICWA or equivalent qualification) from a reputed institution.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10-15 years of Strong experience in Financial/ regulatory reporting and Analysis experience in Bank's Finance unit having Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in working in a global financial services organization in a matrixed environment
