Job Description
The role of Associate Manager in Software Engineering would lead development squad dedicated to our product roadmap and strategic goals. The primary mission is to guide the team through the entire software delivery lifecycle—from scope definition and design to development, testing, deployment, support, and ongoing innovation.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or related field.
• Overall 10+ years of experience in software development domain using Java/J2EE Spring Spring boot, microservices and related technologies. In-depth experience with server-side frameworks, event driven architecture, system integration patterns.
• At least 4+ years of technical leadership experience managing a team of software engineers.
• At least 5+ years of experience with integration of enterprise software systems, delivering end-to-end SaaS applications and highly scalable software products.
• At least 4+ of experience with React or Angular, Node JS, and Typescript
• Extensive experience in building containerized applications and deploying to public or private clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar providers.
• Experience with relational databases and database design using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, No-SQL based database systems, etc.
What will you be doing in this role?
• Lead and manage software development team to deliver projects which achieve desired outcomes.
• Partner with product owners, design, data and other technology teams in a high velocity software engineering environment to define and bring new capabilities to market.
• Focus on enhancing the quality and security of solutions and products being delivered.
• Align team members with project strategy and goals. Inspire employees to achieve their best through effective team leadership and communication practices.
• Provide meaningful input into design and architecture decisions that drive technical innovations. In conjunction with the architecture group establish and enforce design and coding standards, evaluate, and recommend tools for improving software delivery.
• Proactively understand business goals & proposed product milestones. Actively focus on uncovering technical risks & opportunities.

Hours of Work
