Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Associate Medical Director/Physician who is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced community health environment. This role provides direct patient care while supporting the Medical Director in overseeing clinical operations, provider supervision, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Support day-to-day clinical operations and provider oversight
• Supervise, mentor, and orient physicians and advanced practice providers
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Conduct chart reviews, peer reviews, and staff evaluations
• Assist with budgeting, productivity benchmarks, and grant requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• Assume Medical Director responsibilities as needed in leadership absence
Qualifications
• MD (MPH preferred)
• Active California medical license and DEA
• CPR and ACLS certification
• Minimum 3 years in primary care; 2+ years in clinical leadership
• Strong knowledge of community health, underserved populations, and regulatory standards
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Salary Range
$213,870 – $219,220
