About The Role
We’re looking for a technically curious and proactive Associate Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. If you have 2–3 years of hands-on experience and a passion for network technologies, this is an opportunity to expand your skills in a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment.
You’ll support the daily operations of our network landscape, assist in maintaining robust connectivity, and play a key role in first-level and second-level support. This role offers learning opportunities in both on-prem and cloud-network architectures while working alongside senior engineers on impactful infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do
🔧 Operational Support
Provide day-to-day support for network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points), resolving L1 and L2 issues efficiently.
Monitor network health, troubleshoot latency or connectivity problems, and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
⚙️ Configuration & Deployment
Assist in the setup, configuration, and rollout of network devices and services across various office and data center environments.
Participate in change requests and support maintenance windows for updates and upgrades.
🔐 Security & Access Management
Help manage firewall policies, VPNs, and access controls to ensure secure and compliant connectivity.
Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to basic network security practices.
📈 Documentation & Process Support
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of network configurations, device inventory, and incident logs.
Support ticketing processes and service desk teams by tracking and resolving network-related tickets.
🌐 Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with experienced network and system engineers on projects involving cloud integration, network segmentation, and performance tuning.
Stay current on networking trends and tools by participating in training sessions and hands-on labs.
What You Bring
✅ Experience & Skills
2–3 years of experience supporting network operations in a corporate or service-provider setting.
Sound understanding of core networking concepts: IP addressing, routing, switching, NAT, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
Exposure to Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
Basic familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
Understanding of firewall and VPN configurations is a strong plus.
Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and configuration files.
💻 Bonus Skills
Entry-level scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for task automation.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud or SD-WAN networks.
Exposure to tools like Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is a plus.
🎓 Education & Certifications
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Industry certifications like Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
