About the Role

Ready to take on a role where no two days are the same - and your work truly matters?

As our Associate, Operations, you’ll support the delivery of property operations across government workspaces. You’ll take ownership of key processes like vendor payments, invoice reconciliations, and month-end financials, while also contributing to broader organisational change initiatives.

You’ll join the Workplaces team in the Finance and Operations branch - a collaborative group that supports the daily running of government spaces. Whether it’s streamlining internal processes or supporting new projects, your work will help keep things moving behind the scenes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, understands financial systems, and is comfortable juggling the day-to-day while keeping an eye on the big picture. If that sounds like you - we’d love to hear from you.

We're Looking For

We’re after someone with a mix of experience, energy, and curiosity - someone who sees operations to make a real impact.

Process & Financial Operations: Demonstrated experience with SAP, reconciliations, and month-end reporting, along with a focus on continuous improvement

Data & Analysis: Experienced in Excel and reporting tools, with an eye for detail and a knack for turning data into insights

Problem Solving & Creativity: Proven ability to think critically, troubleshoot effectively, and find smart solutions under pressure

Project Support & Prioritisation: Strong ability to manage competing priorities across multiple tasks and projects with the flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as required

Resilience & Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments, can adjust quickly to change, and stays calm under pressure

Outline your experience in the management of financial tasks, using your Advanced Excel and SAP Gui skills, within an environment with diverse range of stakeholders including Executive, Ministry, The Cabinet Office, and various suppliers.

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($110,266 - $122,058) plus superannuation (11.5%)and leave loading.
