THE ROLE
The area of Security is becoming increasingly critical for banks, with cybercrime constantly growing in sophistication. Product Security is critical to Temenos’ continued success as leader in the banking software market. To further drive focus in this key area, we are bolstering our product Security team with the creation of a Security Architect role in our product security development team.
To perform effectively in this role you need to bring strong knowledge and experience in software development, security domain, architecture and software patterns. You should be able to communicate effectively, and keep abreast with latest technology. You will also perform security research and to participate in innovation and support technology development.
Ideally, you will come from software development background with long career in information security domain. You are someone who is pro-active, enjoys problem solving, and has right mind-set for change.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the development process to ensure security design and framework are adopted and ensure high standards of integration
• Perform security reviews and mentor where required, dive into code if required to identify potential risks and improvements
• Promote security best practices with development team to ensure that our products are always architected with security designed-in
• Support Product and Security Assurance teams in conducting Threat Modelling
• Contribute and enable continuous improvement through development of security standards, patterns and techniques
Skills & Experience
• A hands-on Security Architect with experience of Java EE, Web & Cloud technologies, IAM, PKI, cryptography and a good understanding of security of the digital stack. Experience in cloud technology and application security is essential.
• The successful candidate will come from a strong software development background and experience of application security and SDLC governance within a software product and services organization.
• Background and experience in security product development
• Min 10+ years of experience in implementing product security solution
• Practical experience of software design patterns, software architecture and associated security
