Job Description
• Play an integral role in defining and assessing the application development security architecture and practices
• Working with product architects and development teams to support the secure design and implementation of the solutions
• Carry out security threat modeling and threat analysis for web applications, provide security architecture and advice on enterprise technology projects targeted for on-premises and SaaS implementation
• Coordinate with various project teams to communicate the necessity of security requirements and design constraints
• Initiating the POC on latest security systems, controls to enhance the critical products security posture
• Advise product stakeholders on security risks and mitigation steps to strengthen product security posture
• Identify any gaps in existing application security controls and to come up with recommendations and work around solution to minimize the risk
• Involving and supporting in client security requirements and incidents to provide appropriate recommendations and in post-event analysis
• Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, security framework to guide development team to implement for new projects
Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 10 to 14 years of demonstrated experience managing security assurance teams/relevant security architecture experience. Security Architect Requirements Working knowledge of the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL), OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM), or Building Security in Maturity Model (BSIMM)
• Capability to provide SME support to project teams and new developments
• Demonstrated development knowledge of Java and .NET frameworks
• Solid history of designing, developing, or customizing application authentication and authorization systems.
• The ability to interact with a wide range of development teams from different backgrounds and verticals
• Hands on experience with encryption, hashing, secure random number generation, key derivation, key management, digital signatures, etc. in one or more major development languages.
• General knowledge of core security networking concepts like TLS, SSH, DNS, Firewalls etc.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise software technologies, application security, and infrastructure.
• Location : Chennai/ Bangalore (Work from Office- 3 days from office and 2 days from home)
