Finance Control
Supervises the accurate completion of the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department. Ensures complete, accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting. Ensures compliance with organizational and governmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Reviewing general ledger accounts, balance sheet and income statement schedules, and adjusting journal entries prepared by accounting staff for accuracy and completeness.
• Recommending enhancements to general accounting activities to ensure compliance with organizational and governmental policies and procedures and to ensure the most effective and efficient operations.
• Implementing process and automation improvements to reduce reconciliation efforts.
• Directing the work of general accountants and administering personnel-related functions.
Educational Requirements
• No Advanced Degree Required Preferred
