ABOUT MKG

Founded in 2003, MKG is a women-led creative agency specializing in brand experience. From moments to movements, our work breaks through culture by connecting brands with their people. We’re obsessively curious problem solvers who humanize brands through creative storytelling, purpose-driven engagement, beautiful design and impeccable production. We’re proud to be long-standing partners to brands like Google, Target, Netflix, Meta, HBO, Delta Air Lines, Béis and Spotify and have offices in NYC and LA, but work everywhere else, too.

WORKING AT MKG

We're in the business of experience. We aim to create incredible experiences for everyone – that includes consumers, our clients, and our teammates as well. We care deeply about the journey just as much as the final product. So while you’ll be working hard to check all the details (twice) to make sure the work is flawless, you’ll be shoulder to shoulder with some of the brightest, most compassionate and collaborative people in the industry.

We have offices in NYC and LA. Candidates should be within commuting distance of either office and will need to be available for in-person collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

This position will begin with a four month short term position before converting to full time.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

MKG is looking for a talented and versatile Associate Producer to join our Production department. This person will support Lead Producers on larger-scale activations and, over time, take ownership of smaller projects from kickoff through execution. Success in this role requires curiosity, strong organization, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn fast in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

Support Lead Producers with day-to-day project execution, serving as a key production partner across planning, pre-production, on-site execution, and wrap
Manage project logistics and vendor coordination (rentals, scenic, uniforms, catering, shipping, storage, COIs, etc.), acting as the primary vendor liaison and secondary client contact
Create, organize, and maintain all project documentation including drive folders, production schedules, task grids, budgets, expense tracking, and post-event reconciliations
Contribute to internal and client-facing materials such as creative decks, project summaries, agendas, production books, and training manuals
Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, staffing needs, crew meals, and on-site logistics to ensure seamless execution
Track timelines, anticipate next steps, and proactively develop contingency (“Plan B”) solutions
Support and manage on-site teams, including interns and staff, fostering clear communication and growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Account, and Design teams to align production logistics with project vision
Lead smaller-scale projects independently (with appropriate oversight), including managing budgets, vendors, schedules, and on-site execution
Demonstrate growing confidence, professionalism, and poise when working with clients and external partners
COMPENSATION

$70,000 - $82,000 annually

***This is the minimum + maximum base salary that we, in good faith, are willing to pay at the time of the posting. Salary commensurate with experience
