Amity University invites applications from accomplished academicians / professionals for the post of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Architecture at Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Amity University Kolkata.
Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience Required as per
COA Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations 2020
Associate Professor
• Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch and Master‘s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60 per cent. marks at either level, and
• 8 years experience in teaching/research/ professional work out of which a full-time teaching experience of minimum 3 years (or) 13 years of professional experience.
• Specialization: Urban Planning / Interior Design / Digital Architecture / Landscape
Assistant Professor
• Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch. with minimum 60 per cent. marks and 3 years of relevant professional experience (or)
• Bachelor‘s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B. Arch. and Master‘s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60 per cent. marks at either level and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Specialization: Urban Planning / Interior Design / Digital Architecture / Landscape
Candidates shall be given preference if
• Already have PhD or about to submit their PhD
• Research publications in Scopus / reputed peer reviewed Journals
• Experience in Consultancy / Research Funding
