Function/ Department: Financial Institutions Group
Place of work: Delhi
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage relationship with Government FIs, Insurance Companies, Banks, Capital Markets Brokers, Authorized Dealers (Category II), Funds and other Financial Institutions based out of North India.
• Responsible for credit analysis and underwriting of limits. Ability to resolve credit risk queries raised by FI Risk team and Early Warning team. Basic understanding of financial statements and macro-economics is desirable.
• Own strategic initiatives as well as service fulfillment for all the clients mapped. This also includes keeping track of business-related metrics like Revenue, CASA balances, Term Deposits outstanding, Asset / Trade outstanding, FX flows etc for the mapped clients.
• Participate in various RFPs of clients including annual empanelments and be in regular touch with clients to quote for various corporate banking products including Working Capital Loans, Term Deposits, Bank Guarantees etc on a daily basis.
• Execute documents for various credit facilities by coordinating with client and internal departments like Legal, Credit Risk, Compliance, CAD etc.
• Handle KYC and AML processes for FIs at the time of onboarding of new relationship or at the time of KYC renewal.
• Ensure smooth implementation of various mandates by coordinating with client and internal departments like Product Teams, Operations, Service Team, Compliance etc.
• Work closely with various Product teams to ensure maximum cross sell in all clients.
• Coordinate with Cash Management Team, Trade Team, FX team, Operations Team and Service team to ensure that transactions are handled and executed in satisfactory manner.
Desired Candidate Profile
• 5+years of overall work experience
• Strong sales, client management and customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of dealing with multiple internal stakeholders like Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal and Product teams
• Analytical skills and basic understanding of financial statements / balance sheet is desirable
• Basic MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)
• MBA or Chartered Accountant by qualification is desirable
