Job Description
Department: Wholesale Banking
Purpose:
To support credit committee decisions, prepare comprehensive credit proposals that evaluate a client's portfolio quality, capital adequacy, liquidity, management quality, and credit rating.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyze NBFC & NBFC-MFI clients' creditworthiness by assessing factors such as AUM growth, portfolio quality, management quality, CAR, and balance sheet performance.
Develop detailed credit proposals combining financial analysis with sectorial information to inform credit committee decisions regarding proposed financing.
Liaise with Credit Risk, Compliance teams to obtain internal approval for credit memos.
Handle Early Warning Signal meetings, responding to observations to maintain overall portfolio hygiene.
Support Relationship Managers & Senior Relationship Managers in client meetings, presentations, and MIS preparation.
Oversee loan disbursement & documentation, collaborating with legal, compliance, and audit teams.
Foster business relationships by visiting clients regularly.
Proactively assist RMs/SRMs in preparing business/account plans, identifying target clients.
Conduct regular visits to NBFC/MFIs, interact with clients, external rating analysts, and maintain call reports.
Analyze quarterly financial performance, receivable audits, and highlight trends/deviations in collections/portfolio quality.
Education:
Graduation: Any Graduation
Post-graduation: Any Post-graduation
Professional Qualification/Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience: 0-2 years of experience
