Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists to join a growing Payment Compliance Team which currently performs transaction and reference data screening in support of Macquarie’s commitment to comply with its regulatory obligations. The suitable applicant will be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to demonstrate initiative in a challenging and varied role.
Business Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external investigations of sanctions concerns in collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders.
Screening entity names against sanctions, adverse news, and politically exposed persons list in relation to third party payments.
Manage and ensure timely response is made to sanctions related correspondent bank queries.
Support the IFTI reporting program through monitoring of SLAs and appropriate investigation
Escalation of due diligence findings to the Financial Crime Risk team for further guidance or approval.
Key Skill Requirements:
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to summarize and communicate complex findings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Ability to follow the designed and embedded policies and procedures in line with the AML requirements
Experience in AML/CTF compliance within a regulatory environment or relevant tertiary education highly desirable.
