Job Description
• To develop infrastructure processes and procedures and handle the helpdesk function for managing day to day issues for both Bank & Securities entities
• To ensure closure of customer requests (internal or external) within stipulated timelines for customer delight.
• To manage costs and efficient planning of resources and maintain and manage sustainable relationships with our network of vendors
Main Responsibilities :-
1. Infrastructure Management:-
• Work with the regional Global Technology Services (GTS) teams to manage the local IT infrastructure.
• Manage Data Centre of the Bank.
• Monitor voice recording, data backups, tape movement and other controls to mitigate any risks.
• Handle the dealing systems connectivity to RBI, troubleshoot and co-ordinate with RBI / vendors for the normal day-to-day issues.
• Play a key role in setup and maintenance of the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) needs of the organization.
• Own regulatory requirements related to network and infrastructure
• Drive any new IT initiatives – new projects from HO / local.
2. Helpdesk Management:-
• ON time resolution of Infra related Tasks for ORG/End users
• Provide other technical support to users and assist with the day-to-day operation.
• Ensure incidents / problems (if any) are managed suitably with regular update to the impacted users / management and also ensure the same are logged with details.
• Perform inventory collection and management, software licensing control and reporting.
3. Others:-
• This role would also cover the responsibility managing a team of 2 people in the GTS Team.
• Provide full support for server, desktop, applications, networking, telecom, other administration and maintenance responsibilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as well as training of users as and when required.
• Manage the entire IT procurement / order management process.
• Liaise with vendor for hardware purchases.
• Liaise with the Head office / Regional IT teams and external suppliers to plan the system rollouts.
• Participate in the regional / HO / RBI audits and provide required information.
• Organize and conduct various meetings with the GTS teams to review the open projects.
• Perform close monitoring of the IT services (SLA) and present regular IT dashboard with KPI to the business.
• Conduct routine health checks of team rooms/Board room/Posivitta lab to ensure no issues are faced by users
• Provide technical support during town halls and any other events (requiring technical support) for smooth execution of the event
