Boeing India is currently seeking an Associate Software Developer – Java Fullstack to join the product development team. The development team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of in-house software applications supporting our business lines.
Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to interact with peers and customers. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
As a senior programmer analyst, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user requirements.
• Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
• Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Should have good experience in object-oriented programming , Java/J2EE applications and advanced concepts
• Working knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge in UI frameworks – HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Angular 8 and above
• Experience in Test Driven Development(JUnit/Karma)
• Should have experience working with XML and JASON
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
• Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling is required.
• Ability to manage all software configuration items, installation and cutover of the computing products within a given scope.
• Experience in ALM tools (GitLab, Gradle, Docker, SonarQube ).
• Experience in Cloud based development (Azure/ AWS).
• Excellent Presentation and communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
• Working exposure with Agile (Scrum ) and DevOps is a must
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience in Aerospace domain
• Experience in Data transformation and API design for Data sharing will be an added advantage
Typical Education & Experience: Typically, 4-8 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (eg. bachelor, master, etc) preferred but not required.
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
