ROLE: Associate Software Engineer - Java Full Stack
ROLE DESCRIPTION
• As a Java Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop JavaJ2EE base Application.
• Posses Database skills, Ability to write REST services, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure and development lifecycle
• You are expected to be a full stack developer responsible for endtoend product development.
• You should have sound technical knowledge and thorough understanding of the business application.
• Required Technical and Professional Expertise: 8+ years of experience in Java development
• Understand application storyboards and use cases to be able to translate into functional applications
• Review and implement functional business requirements and nonfunctional technical requirements
• Research and analyse new technologies to be used eg, Libraries, IDE s, tools
• Functionally test features
• Be able to troubleshoot bottlenecks and defects and arrive at solutions to these problems
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Help maintain code quality, organization and modularity by following sound development practices and standards
• Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with developing microservices and designing, developing productsapplications on Cloud platforms Kubernetes, RedHat OCP15
• Knowledge of working on products and applications in security domain encryption capabilities.
SOFT SKILLS
• Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
• Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment
• Ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner
• Ability to showcase three Mahindra RISE Pillars e.g. Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking
