In this role you will get to:
Contribute to mission critical projects with direct impact on the evolution of Priceline's business.
Be part of a SRE and infrastructure team that continuously experiments, iterates and supports delivery of new product objectives and initiatives.
Apply your programming skills towards building & supporting low latency and high throughput transactional services.
Design and develop systems supporting our high-traffic Hotel, Airline, Rental Car and Vacation Package businesses, that serve hundreds of millions of searches a day, generating billions of events.
Apply RUST programming skills to design and develop for the CDN architecture
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science. 2+ years of JavaScript along with experience working on a number of large-scale, consumer facing web projects.
Ability to utilize at least one modern client side JavaScript framework or library (React, Angular, Ember, Nodejs, Express,js).
Ability to develop and build REST-ful APIs.
Familiarity with Full Stack Development.
Should have experience in JavaScript & python programming and ability to build automation tools front end for SRE team.
Can build automation tooling to continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and velocity of services deployed on GCP .
Familiarity with Rust development tools and frameworks.
Build Software to streamline the SRE BAU Operations which helps them reduce troubleshooting time and arrive at resolution quickly.
Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
